About Bansidhe
Musings from an Angry Bansidhe came into being at the suggestion of Tenryuu. I was constantly making sigs but wasn’t thrilled with how I was storing and displaying them. He suggested that I meld my penchant for blogging with my penchant for making sigs. Thus, this site was created.
The main focus of this blog is my sig making. There will be some game-related ramblings about raiding, my guild, and WoW in general. Occasionally, I’ll share the random glimpse into my real life, usually that will involve something bizarre that occurs with my students.
Bansidhe is an undead warlock on the Rexxar server. However, she didn’t start out as a warlock. She actually started out life as a mage, and she sat in the wings waiting to be played. One day, a friend suggested I play a lock, and it seemed fitting that she should be Bansidhe instead. I never imagined I’d actually take her all the way to 70 let alone raid with her.
I’m guilded with some people whom I’ve had the pleasure or headache (depending on the day) of playing with for the last five years in various MMOs. My husband, Toidi, also plays. He’s a tad bit more well-rounded than I with his three level 70 characters.
I like long walks in Nagrand at midn…who am I kidding? When I’m not running with my guild, I’m usually strip mining Terrokar Forest. Either that or I’m running one of the many daily quests. I’ve also taken up the daily PvP quests; I’ll be the one you easily kill as I’m horrid at PvP. If I’m not doing those things, I’m usually making WoW sigs.
Life outside of WoW consists of working with primarily ESL sixth graders in a low SES area. I’m an avid reader, and I tend to always have a book with me wherever I go.
