I’ve tried contacting the following people via e-mail, so I’m trying one last post before I give up on your sig requests. That’s okay, though, because I hear my favorite orc has about eight things for me. ;) If you are one of the following people, could you check your e-mail? Check your junk box too as I know sometimes my e-mail goes there.

Auzara over at Chick GM wanted to update her banner. This was greatly intimidating to me because I thought she had a cute banner that went well with the title. What could I possibly do to update it? That was the constant thought in my head.

First thing I did was to fire up the Model Viewer, and I started taking various shots of Egbert in various positions. It sounds kinkier than it actually was. I ended up with about twenty images of him. (This is why I usually don’t use Model Viewer for people; I take too many pictures.) After shrinking a good majority of the images and trying them out in the banner, I finally settled on three.
I wanted to keep the basic layout that Auzara had, which was an Egbert on either side of the banner. Side views worked best for these. However, that little Egbert that I ended up placing in the center just demanded his place in her banner. I just kept thinking that Auzara is a GM and needs to keep a watchful eye on everything in her guild, and that particular Egbert is watching everything!
For contrast, I added shadows under all the Egberts and gave them the slightest hint of an outer glow. I did the same for the font; that way it would have some depth and stand out from the background a little more. Hopefully Auzara will be pleased with the end result.

My second Age of Conan sig. I have to say Age of Conan sigs are a bit harder to do simply because the characters are more lifelike than the ones in WoW. However, I do like the way this one turned out despite having to smooth out her pixels a bit more than I do for WoW characters.
I’ve also always wanted to use this font in a signature, but the name really has to have the right letters for this font to be aesthetically pleasing. Hers worked so well!
Yes, I know I have it posted under Request a Sig, and I know that 99% of the people who have requested sigs from me actually take the time to read my requirements. Bless your hearts for doing so! However, there’s always those few people who want a sig and could care less about being bothered by a wall of text.
My biggest pet peeve right now with requests is not getting image links. Yes, I completely understand that some of you are at work when you request a sig and don’t have screenshots handy. That’s fine as the majority of people write that in the message box. When you tell me that, I’m willing to wait. I’ll even send out a reminder if I haven’t received any after a few days and still keep you on the waiting list.

But when you send me a request with just your character name or just your guild, I’m really hesitant to work on your sig because that tells me you didn’t bother to read my requirements for a sig. Essentially, your time can’t be wasted to read that, so you waste my time.
Well, here’s where I throw a little fit. You can blame the pregnancy hormones or you can blame me for just being an evil banshee. I don’t care. If you cannot bother to read my requirements and follow the simple directions there, I cannot be bothered to complete a sig for you. It’s just that simple.
For those of you for whom I’ve had the pleasure to complete sigs, banners, and avatars, thank you for following directions, for patience in regards to your sigs, and for being so nice!

Asara over at Asara’s Mental Meanderings requested a banner. A while back, I made a sig for her, and I actually took the background from her site and used some Photoshop effects to make it work with a sig. I wanted to keep the same coloring as her site, so I took some elements from her sig and used them in her banner.
I kept the original coloring with the text, but I wanted Asara’s name to stand out from the rest. What better way them some curly script?
Asara sent five images. She included her GM kitty, her protection paladin, her boomkin, and her frost mage. I figured if I could get eight characters into a sig, I could surely get hers into a banner.
