70…again

I’ve finally hit 70 on Slainte!  I would have hit it sooner, but naps made a dent in my leveling.  I didn’t announce it in guild; I just called Chiryuko and asked her to relay to Tenryuu that I finally made it.

Other than grinding out my last 24% today on Slainte, I picked up Age of Conan at my local Gamestop.  Oddly enough, I was carded because the game is rated M.  I wouldn’t have been so shocked if I had been carded by a younger person working the counter, but it was another adult.  Maybe it’s just a store policy; you know, better safe than sorry.

Finally!

Holo-gogs

As you can see from the picture, I’ve a fascination for Levitate. That’s not what the picture if mainly about, though. After much nagging (and mailing of mats) from Tenryuu, I finally made my Destruction Holo-gogs. I have to say they look pretty sweet, and I’m glad he nagged me until I made them. At the time, I was a little irked with him because all I wanted to do was take a nap.

Napping has become my unchosen hobby as of late, and I haven’t had much energy or desire to play WoW. It’s a tad frustrating since Slainte is level 68, and I’d really like her to hit 70. I guess it’s just par for the course with being pregnant. I knew my WoW time would be interrupted but who knew it would be so soon? Sometimes RL makes WoW take a backseat.

Once June hits, though, I do plan to get Slainte to 70. School will be done by then, and for once, I didn’t sign up to teach either session of summer school. My summer will consist of getting the baby room ready, completing some house projects, playing WoW, changing our family website, moving this web site to a new domain, and making sigs. What my summer will not consist of is eating cottage cheese and pickle juice as The Troll Hunter suggested. Gross!

Wolf Rider’s Sig

It’s only taken me months to finish this sig. To Wolf Rider (formerly known as Coldness, the Troll Hunter), I apologize immensely for the delay.

Wolf Rider Version 1

Wolf Rider Version 2

Wolf Rider Version 3

Unfortunately, I had an idea in my head, and when I couldn’t get it to display in a sig, creative blocks went up and stayed there. Then I got a little sidetracked by my quest to 70, which was often interrupted by many naps at the keyboard.

The sig actually has a transparent background, but the display feature I use here puts it against a black background by default. It looks better on a lighter background as Wolf Rider’s black gear needs the contrast.
