The Other Side

Outlands

Tenryuu of the Shattered Sun will be quite pleased to find that I’ve finally crossed to the other side. No, no, not that side. Too many dirty humans running around over there. I’m talking about the Dark Portal.

I was very excited to find that I had met all the requirements to continue my journey and join my brothers and sisters in the Outlands. Although, had I known what was to come, I may not have been so eager to journey to that wasteland.

Tonight, I followed Reodhadh through the portal. Although I did get the distinct feeling he’s already been there as he seemed to know exactly where we needed to go. I need to keep a closer eye on him; he seemed to enjoy the orc women a little too much for my tastes.

After spending several moments gazing at the beautiful sky, I turned to take in the terrain. My only thoughts were disappointment at how barren Hellfire appeared. Everything has this horrid orange hue to it. Yuck!

In Tandem

Reodhadh and I must look like hearty folk  because everyone we met wanted us to become part of their cause.  Either that or they are quite desperate for help. I think it was the latter. Forward Commander To’Arch outside of Thrallmar tasked us to bomb some peons and overseers in the Abyssal Shelf. Reodhadh was scared so I had to ride the wyvern with him.

Outlands

I thought we had entered Outlands properly attired but I hadn’t factored how dry that land is. My clothes were stifling but I trudged on with Reodhadh. He wasn’t complaining, so I wasn’t about to utter a word. At least my robe had some holes for ventilation.

Little did I know that what I was wearing was not the expected dress in Hellfire Peninsula. Nor did I expect my newfound friends to give Reodhadh and I new clothing for our travels.

Our friends bestowed rewards upon us for taking on tasks. Once again, people want me to complete tasks for them to prove my worth. Who am I to say no when clothing is involved? Oddly enough, Reodhadh and I were told that our outfits were exactly the same. Yet, I swear somehow, my outfit is lacking something. I just can’t put my finger on it.

Chiryuko did have it this bad; you’ve just chosen to forget!

I was even more saddened when Reodhadh said, “If you don’t wear the hat, I look like I’m pimping you.” /cry
