Pallybarry’s Sig
Posted by Bansidhe on January 27th, 2008 filed in SignaturesI had planned to work on a sig for Guin, but I couldn’t get him to stop PvPing long enough to take a few pictures. So I logged onto a friend’s account and took some pictures of his character, Pallybarry. He had new gear, and new gear means new sig. The background is done in gray because that’s his favorite color.
Over the last four years, I’ve made three sigs for Pallybarry. The first was for his Erudite, Kanenable, in EQ2. The second was for his paladin in WoW. He’d asked me for one, and I even took screenshots. However, months passed, and I hadn’t made one. It wasn’t anything personal either. You see, Pallybarry is what I call my sig Yoda. When I first started out, he was the one who sat with me in Ventrilo and walked me through how to do certain tricks with my software. Then he was kind enough to send me tutorial CDs that showed me other tips and tricks. When it comes to making sigs for him, I am very critical of my own work, and it takes me a long time to complete his sigs.
I decided to try my hand at drawing individual hairs on a character with seven different shades of color, and I think it is the best hair I have ever done. You can actually see it better when you open the before and after picture. Now I just need to do this for a female character as it turned out nicely.
